Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to provide peer and operational support in Boca Raton, FL. This part-time role focuses on patient supervision, safety, and collaboration with the care team to ensure quality care.

The BHT will perform vital checks, assist with daily activities, and work Fridays 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, reporting to the Director of Operations. A high school diploma or higher is required, with a preference for behavioral health certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred certification in behavioral health or related field.
• Experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patients and ensure safety; conduct safety checks and communicate needs to medical staff.
• Measure vital signs, perform UDS and pregnancy tests per policy.
• Provide empathetic patient interaction and refer clinical concerns to therapy staff.
