Zusammenfassung

GateHouseTreatment is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support residents in our residential housing program during the second shift (3p-11p). The BHT will help maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment by monitoring residents, supporting daily routines, and reinforcing program expectations.

This role is ideal for someone dependable, compassionate, and committed to working directly with individuals in recovery.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential care, or human services preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and a calm presence in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and support residents in the housing environment to ensure safety, structure, and compliance with program rules.
• Conduct regular checks and observations; document behaviors, incidents, and shift notes accurately.
• Support residents with daily routines, community expectations, and recovery-focused activities.
• De-escalate situations appropriately and follow crisis intervention and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clinical, housing, and operations staff during shift handoffs.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies.
