Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Lake Ariel is a 60-bed residential facility providing detox and inpatient rehabilitation. The Evening Shift BHT role focuses on daily operations, supervision, client engagement, and maintaining a warm, recovery-focused environment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least one year in recovery, a valid license and CPR if possible, and a personal commitment to recovery principles. The team offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience in recovery field.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
