Job summary

Wellstone is seeking a Behavioral Tech (BHT) to support residents in a group home setting, Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM. You will provide instruction on living skills, document progress in the Electronic Health Record, and assist in meal prep according to posted menus.

Responsibilities include supervising in the absence of the House Supervisor, coordinating activities, administering medications as documented, and ensuring a clean, safe environment while upholding safety procedures and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent 3-year MVR (valid driver's license).
• Certified in CPR, SAMA, MAC1 (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the House Supervisor, supervise direct care of residents.
• Provide instruction, guidance, encouragement, and reinforcement for residents.
• Document residents' progress in the Electronic Health Record.
• Coordinate resident activities in the home and community.
• Administer medication and document accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; perform housekeeping as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and training; submit time sheets and leave requests.
