Job summary

Centurion Health is hiring a Residential Counselor for the FACT program in California. You will provide community-based services, monitor clients, and support treatment objectives in a 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule.

Responsibilities include group sessions, psychoeducation, medical resource referrals, and safety planning. A high school diploma and background check are required; CPR certification is preferred. Position offers weekend/evening shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of mental health experience preferred.
• Community-based mental health experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• Active CPR certification preferred.
• Must have valid California driver’s license; good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides socialization and recreational services to support recovery and medication adherence.
• Provides socialization support for daily living skills.
• Conducts structured skills-based groups on coping, time management, and stress management.
• Runs substance use treatment group.
• Prepares encounter notes and maintains client records.
• Engages clients in community activities and safe reintegration.
