Job summary

St. Joseph's Villa is seeking an Evening Behavior Specialist to support the Crisis Services team for ages 5–17. The role focuses on delivering treatment per Service Plans, crisis intervention, and coordination with staff. Work occurs within Crisis Now and related community partnerships.

The position requires QMHP certification, relevant experience, and accuracy in documentation, with a 4:00pm–12:00am schedule and rotating weekends. Salary starts at $50,000 annually.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in social work, psychology, sociology, or related human service field.
• QMHP certification through the VA Board of Health required.
• Two or more years related experience with relevant population.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participates as an active team member in delivering services to individuals.
• Attends All-Staff Meetings and Treatment Team Meetings.
• Develops and implements safety and service plans based on individual needs.
• Uses trauma-informed care techniques to work with clients in crisis.
• Plans psycho-educational services and therapeutic activities for individuals or groups.
• Maintains accurate documentation per licensing and accreditation standards.
