Job summary

St. Joseph's Villa in Richmond, VA is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors and Clinical Social Workers to provide direct clinical care to adolescents aged 5-17 within our Crisis Stabilization Unit or 23-Hour Crisis Receiving Center.

The Clinician will deliver crisis-focused therapy and contribute to treatment planning. The role involves individual, group and family therapy, rapid stabilization and discharge planning, collaboration with families and agencies, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human service related field.
• LPC or LCSW licensure eligibility required (Clinician II).
• Fully licensed as LPC or LCSW preferred (Clinician III).

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency screening of clients referred by CSB in need of crisis stabilization services.
• Conducts individual, group and family therapy as identified in the client’s treatment plan.
• Implements and monitors a comprehensive stabilization and rapid discharge plan for each client.
• Meets with family members and relevant agencies to advise on clients’ progress and teach them techniques to continue behavioral changes outside the setting.
• Designs appropriate interventions for each client.
• Ensures staff is trained in selected intervention techniques and therapies are implemented in a coordinated manner.
• Maintains all appropriate client service documentation from referral through discharge and aftercare.
• Assumes regular on-call responsibilities.

The Clinician will work within our Crisis Stabilization Unit or 23-Hour Crisis Receiving Center with adolescents ages 5-17.
