Job summary

TEL Staffing is seeking a Houseman for a fast-paced beach resort in Pensacola, FL. The role supports housekeeping, maintains public areas, and responds to guest requests during evening hours.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work weekends/holidays, with strong customer service and teamwork skills. Pay is $15.00/hr, with room for growth depending on assignment and schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, pool areas and beach access points.
• Perform routine inspections of resort grounds and public spaces during shift.
• Respond to guest requests for amenities, linens, towels, cribs, rollaway beds and other items.
• Assist Room Attendants with linen distribution, trash removal, and supply replenishment.
• Collect and transport soiled linens and refuse to designated areas.
• Stock housekeeping closets and storage areas with necessary supplies.
• Clean and maintain outdoor guest areas such as pool decks and beach walkways.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to appropriate departments.
• Assist with meeting room setups and event support as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and sanitation standards; provide courteous service.
