Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Bartender to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn Hartford North Bradley location. This part-time role involves beverage preparation, service in the lounge and bar, and light kitchen prep. A friendly team player who can work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is invited to apply.

Applicants must be TIPS certified in Connecticut and have a strong knowledge of alcohol service. Prior hotel bartending is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be TIPS certified in CT.
• Minimum of High School education.
• Minimum of three (3) years in a bartending role.
• Alcohol awareness certification REQUIRED.
• Previous hotel bartending experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages and light food in lounge and bar areas.
• Ensure bar, glasses and cutlery are clean and sanitized.
• Greet guests, verify ages, take orders, and present bills.
• Monitor guests for over-consumption and take appropriate actions.
• Lock up and secure beverage, food and equipment; handle cash drops.
