Job summary

Union Pizza & Smash is seeking a PM Bartender / Supervisor to lead evening operations while working behind the bar and supporting the front of house team. This hands‑on role calls for great bar and counter service, keeping the shift organized and guests taken care of.

Nights and weekends are required. The candidate should bring bartender or restaurant experience and be ready to take on leadership responsibilities while staying involved during service.

Qualifications

• Experience in bartending or restaurant service.
• Strong verbal and guest communication skills.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Nights and weekends availability required.

Responsibilities

• Bartend and provide friendly, efficient guest service.
• Help supervise the FOH team during evening shifts.
• Keep staff on task and maintain service standards.
• Assist with training and coaching team members.
• Handle guest questions or concerns when needed.
• Support counter service and jump in wherever needed.
• Communicate with the kitchen and FOH team throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area.
• Complete closing procedures and help ensure the restaurant is properly closed each night.
• Communicate shift issues or important information to management.
