Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly bartender/server to serve beverages and light food to guests in a timely manner at our lounge. You will prepare drinks for colleagues and act as cashier, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Team player and willing to help co-workers with their job duties.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to operate keyboard and POS procedures to pre-check and close orders.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily, including stocking of beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Prepare fresh garnishes and juices, and ensure product quality.
• Greet guests, promote and document drink orders, mix and present drinks.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate alcohol service requirements.
• Input orders into POS and create checks for guests served.
• Handle cash, balance money, and secure vouchers.
• Lock up and store equipment and deposits cash drops.
• Maintain sanitary space for guests and employees.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
