Job summary

Textron Aviation is hiring an Experienced Avionics Technician for the Milwaukee, WI service center. In this second-shift role, you will perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionics systems to ensure safety and reliability.

You will analyze flight data, diagnose issues, replace defective units, and support flight testing as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2 years of avionics experience; A&P certification is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair.
• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification is helpful.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Functional testing of avionics systems and troubleshooting per FAA procedures.
• Diagnose and correct avionics issues using flight data and customer feedback.
• Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed.
• Assist with flight testing of repaired or aligned systems as required.
• Follow aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and provided instructions.
