Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Automation Technician to install, maintain, and repair automated distribution equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role operates on 2nd shift (1:00 PM – 11:30 PM), four days a week with Saturdays.

You will handle relay logic, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical motor work while ensuring safety and efficiency on production lines. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years’ related experience or an engineering technology trade school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of job-related experience.
• Engineering Technology Trade School Diploma preferred.
• In lieu of a trade school diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs including ladder logic and communications modules.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of self-guided forklifts and automated cranes.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose potential problems.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
