Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Wooster, OH is seeking a production/operator to program, monitor, and operate automated palletizing equipment to build stable pallets for Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos.

The role includes setting up palletizing boards, validating counts, and adjusting based on production needs. The position involves following safety protocols, LOTO practices, and working a five-day schedule with start times around 3:30 pm and end around 12:00 am; on-the-job training and a high-energy manufacturing

Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You can stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated/robotic palletizing equipment to build stable, accurate pallets
• Program product codes, validate case counts, and make adjustments based on production needs
• Troubleshoot the stacker and related equipment, and consistently follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other safety protocols
• Set up palletizing boards in the proper areas and ensure accurate flow of finished goods on the conveyor system
• Use computer terminals to input or request information based on the production schedule and document required checks
