Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Driver I - Non-DOT to safely move, stage and park vehicles on Auction property, drive vehicles to auction lanes and customer locations, and support sale operations. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM with an hourly pay rate of $18.81 and potential additional compensation.

Responsibilities include driving in auction lanes, ensuring proper vehicle placement, assisting with vehicle operations, and following safety rules.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods and walk long distances.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous auction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing rules of the road and safety procedures.
Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary.
Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed and, if necessary, inflate tires and jump start vehicles.
Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; report gas levels to the appropriate team.
