Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Monterey is seeking compassionate Caregivers/MedTechs to support residents in a senior living community. The positions offer full-time Tuesday–Saturday AM shifts and competitive benefits.

You will assist with daily living activities and medication management, while maintaining accurate progress notes in a supportive team environment. The role requires current caregiver training, CNA license or equivalent experience, and eligibility to obtain first aid/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver is preferred.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Memory Care Experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
