Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for an evening shift in Georgia to support the nurse manager on a unit. This leadership role requires strong communication, mentoring, and the ability to drive staff performance, quality, and patient safety.

You will partner with physicians and departments to ensure efficient care delivery, manage staff, participate in performance reviews, and coach teammates while upholding Wellstar's standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required.
• RN license in GA required upon hire.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages staff in decision making via shared governance; partners with nurse manager to promote patient-centered care.
• Represents the organization to the community and professional groups.
• Supports the charge nurse and other nursing leaders to ensure efficient care delivery and accountability.
• Assists with budget development and monitors fiscal outcomes for the unit.
