Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing.
• RN license—single state or multi-state compact (RN-Compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage staff in decision making via shared governance and partner with others to promote patient-centered care.
• Serve as designee to nurse manager, providing leadership and mentoring for unit(s).
• Support budget development and apply lean quality principles to improve operations and clinical care.
• Promote interdisciplinary teamwork and hold staff accountable for performance standards.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and performance reviews; foster a healthy workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, regulatory and accreditation standards; model professional nursing practice.
• Represent the organization to the community and support staff recruitment and retention efforts.
