U.S. Servico, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Janitorial Supervisor for the evening shift to lead cleaning teams across multiple sites in Michigan, including Ann Arbor, Farmington Hills, Northville, Novi, and Southfield.

The role involves establishing standards, training staff, ensuring high cleanliness and safety, covering shifts as needed, and coordinating with the warehouse; valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% required.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of commercial cleaning experience.
• Previous management experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and tools as needed.
• Proficient in using mobile apps to clock in, clock out, and report inspections.

This is a full time evening, hands on, Assistant Janitorial Supervisor Position. *This will be anywhere from 32-40 hours a week.* This position will be typically Monday - Friday but could also include some weekend coverage if needed. Some of the cities to be covered will include Ann Arbor, Farmington Hills, Inkster, Livonia, Northville, Novi, Plymouth, Redford and Southfield. Find the right opportunity for you today!Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.Reasons You’ll Love Working Here:- You will start Earning Time Off (ETO) from the minute you first clock in!- Unlimited opportunities to receive $50 referral bonuses after 60 days.- Health Coverage- Many of our entry-level employees become leaders in operations and other areas**Responsibilities of this position include:**-Establishing work standards-Conducting site evaluations to ensure all are being cleaned and detailed to customers satisfaction, following closely to the scope of work expected-Orientation and training of employees-Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness, quality and safety-Fill in for absent employees if/when needed to clean service areas according to Servico Standards (reviewed during training)-Special work projects as requested-Cover open shifts-Working with warehouse to ensure janitor closets are stocked-Evaluating janitor closets for organization-Able to use cleaning equipment if required (i.e. canister or backpack vacuum, walk behind floor scrubber, and mopping systems)-Using various cleaning chemicals-Able to bend, stand, lift, etc.-Ability to use cellphone application to clock in and clock out for scheduled work hours-Ability to use cellphone application to complete inspection reports and post pictures-Show up to location on time, every time as scheduled-Demonstrate ability to work in a team like setting or individually-Able to work with minimal supervision from upper management-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs### **Requirements of this position include:**-Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle-Ability to travel up to 75%-Excellent attention to details-Min. 2 years of Commercial Cleaning experience reflected on resume-Good communication skills-Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and achieve effective time management-Ability to work well under pressure-Self – directed**Cleaning Duties are but not limited to:**-Basic commercial cleaning-Mopping and vacuuming (possible floor scrubber)-Detailing-Dusting and wet wiping-Trash removal-Bathroom cleaning-Supply stocking## Qualifications-Must have reliable transportation to the job site-Previous management experience required-Previous commercial cleaning preferred; i.e., Office, Medical, Retail-High School and/or GED is encouraged
