Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a manufacturing assembler to contribute to the timely completion of a variety of products. You will assemble components, follow process work instructions and test procedures, and document work to meet quality requirements.

The role is onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:15pm–10:45pm with overtime as production needs, and requires lifting up to 50 pounds and using a range of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components including sub-assemblies, manual and electrical parts to complete products.
• Follow work instructions and test procedures; record related documentation for quality.
• Meet build rates and schedules; prepare products for shipment per specs.
• Use manual and power tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and cutting devices.
• Set up, prep, clean up and perform quality assurance on own work and area.
• Meet schedule and overtime, including weekends.
• Exert up to 50 pounds to move objects.
