Job summary

Stryker Group in Portage, MI invites an Assembler I to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts and electrical systems using hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures. Under supervision, you will follow work instructions, monitor quality, record documentation and ensure on-time production.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional overtime. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.25 including shift premium, benefits, and bonus

Qualifications

• High School or GED
• Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts and electrical/electronic systems.
• Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks and maintain records.
• Meet production build rates and cycle times.
• Assemble cartons, prepare products for shipment per specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools and measuring devices; ensure quality.
• Set up, prep, clean up and perform quality checks of own work area.
• Meet overtime requirements as needed.
