Job summary

Guardian West is seeking an Assembly Operator for the 1st shift to assemble automotive bumpers and components, perform washing, material handling, and inspections per work instructions and quality standards. Operators rotate through cells to promote safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires lifting up to 63.5 pounds, following detailed instructions, and effective teamwork. Starting pay is $20.75 per hour with $21.25 after 90 days, and overtime is common on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and quality.
• Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Wash bumpers and retrieve/remanufacture components as required.
• Assemble bumpers with nuts, brackets, lights, wiring and plastic components per instructions.
• Move bumpers between stations and rotate positions to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety, quality, and work instruction requirements.
• Meet production target of approximately 500 bumpers per 8-hour shift.
