Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an assembler for the 2nd shift in Southern Pines, NC. You will read drawings, assemble parts, and ensure quality while following safety rules and ISO procedures. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various hand and power tools.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year of manufacturing experience. On-site work with opportunities to learn across lines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to read drawings and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read print drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials for construction.
• Assemble parts according to standard work / bill of materials and work orders.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets and clamps per torque specs.
• Operate pneumatic and manual presses and related setup tasks.
• Set up and operate identification equipment and perform in-process testing.
