Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift (3pm–1am). This role focuses on precision machining, setup, and inspection to ensure high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, operate CNC machines (Okuma, Moriseiki, Mazak, Haas, Makino, Fanuc), and work with standard processes, Kaizen principles and safety procedures. At least two years of experience required; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as CNC Operator/Machinist.
• 2+ years of experience reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work for machine setup and maintenance.
• Inspect, deburr, and operate additional equipment.
• Update visual controls and maintain a safe work area.
• Identify and report equipment abnormalities and participate in kaizen events.
