Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking an Assembler II (Large Pack) in Reno, NV. The role focuses on assisting Welders in the Cable Tray department, assembling and stacking Cable Tray ladders, and handling up to 50 pounds during shifts.

The position offers an hourly rate of $22.73 and eligibility for a variable incentive program, with core hours 2:30PM - 11PM and comprehensive benefits starting day one of employment.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing fabrication experience.
• Welding ability or knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/shop orders.
• Set-up and troubleshoot welding equipment.
• Examine and measure workpieces for defects and ensure conformance.

Responsibilities

• Assist and set up for Welders in Cable Tray department.
• Assemble and stack/band Cable Tray ladders.
• Handle materials and parts up to 50 pounds.
• Perform simple repetitive assembly of parts and components.
• Work under close supervision from models/samples/diagrams.
• Support LEAN initiatives including 5-S and visual management tools.
• Participate in Kaizen improvements and events.
