Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support safe, efficient care. You will clean and maintain anesthesia equipment, assist providers during procedures, and ensure machines and carts are prepared for use. The shift is Monday–Friday evenings, 2pm–10:30pm, with opportunities to contribute to OR turnover.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. Prior experience in anesthesia support is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in anesthesia support preferred.
• BLS certification within first 6 months; infection prevention training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and stock the anesthesia workroom and equipment.
• Assist anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Prepare anesthesia machines and carts for use the following day.
• Assemble IV solutions for anesthesia providers.
• Collaborate with perioperative team to support OR turnover.
• Assist with airway equipment such as video laryngoscope and intubation carts.
• Prepare age-appropriate anesthesia equipment, monitors, and airway support.
