Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ, seeks an Anesthesia Technician for the OR Procedural Materials Management team. The role supports anesthesiologists and the perioperative team by preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment for surgical cases.

The position is part-time (minimum 24 hours) with a 3pm–11pm shift and benefits eligibility. Minimum rate starts at $17/hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in an acute care hospital, surgical services, or procedural setting.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, supplies, monitoring devices, and airway management tools.
• Ability to prepare, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment and related supplies.
• Familiarity with infection prevention, sterilization, and patient safety standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical teams.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport equipment and supplies as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential anesthesia support to anesthesiologists and the perioperative team.
• Assist with surgical and procedural cases requiring anesthesia by preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and supplies.
• Help maintain a safe and efficient environment for patient care.
• Support infection prevention and sterile processing as part of the OR team.
