Job summary

Eagle Analytical seeks a Supervisor, Analytical Chemistry (2nd Shift) to lead the analytical chemistry team focused on raw materials, finished products, and stability testing. You will drive compliance, calibration, and continuous improvement across lab operations in alignment with cGMP standards.

You will ensure timely testing, manage personnel, and mentor staff while maintaining documentation and SOP updates for regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry with 3–4 years in a pharmaceutical analytical lab.
• Hands-on sample prep chemistry and wet chemistry per compendial procedures.
• Understanding of instrumental analysis procedures in a modern chemistry lab.
• Proficient with computer applications for lab tasks.
• Knowledge of sampling methods and quality control systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, schedule and perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of materials and products.
• Review and interpret test results, lead investigations for out-of-spec results.
• Maintain calibration and troubleshooting of analytical equipment (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, TOC).
• Ensure team proficiency with equipment, SOPs, and regulatory expectations (cGMP).
• Lead SOP development and documentation updates for testing workflows.
