Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking an hourly Exercise Facilitator for the Adolescent Wellness Laboratory in Fort Collins. The role conducts ~2 evening sessions per week, each 1 hour 15 minutes, up to 19 hours weekly, under the CBTeX protocol.

Responsibilities include leading sessions, monitoring safety, reviewing mood forms, scheduling make-ups, and assisting with data collection. Requires a BS in HDFS or related field and ACE Group Fitness Instructor certification.

Qualifications

• BS in Human Development and Family Studies or related field.
• At least one year of research experience.
• Group Fitness Instructor Certification (ACE).
• Must be able to complete full exercise sessions with participants.

Responsibilities

• Lead adolescent study participants in structured exercise sessions per CBTeX protocol.
• Monitor participants during sessions and adjust intensity as needed for safety.
• Review mood forms and conduct risk assessments when concerns arise.
• Schedule and facilitate virtual make-up sessions to support attendance.
• Assist with data collection and documentation for the study.
• Communicate participant concerns and deviations to study staff as required.
• Perform other duties to support study implementation and engagement.
