Job summary

The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy seeks a skilled professional to design and lead exercise programs, assess health questionnaires, and update exercise prescriptions. Strong communication and safety protocol adherence are essential to success.

Responsibilities include conducting fitness evaluations, implementing training strategies, and providing personal training and fitness counseling while maintaining equipment safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be willing to substitute for other staff when needed.
• Schedule varies with center needs; 36-40 hour work week.
• Demonstrate all fitness equipment and exercises on land and in water.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct exercise programs.
• Conduct health assessments and fitness testing.
• Evaluate health questionnaires and counsel members.
• Perform re-evaluations and update prescriptions.
• Implement exercise therapy for joint replacements and chronic conditions.
• Ensure safe equipment usage and infection control.
• Educate and train members and staff on exercise techniques.
• Provide personal training and fitness counseling.
