Job summary

Horizon Recovery seeks a Behavioral Health Coach to bridge residential milieu and clinical treatment for adolescents. You will engage clients, support emotional regulation, and provide coaching aligned with treatment goals in a trauma-informed framework.

Collaborate with Therapists and House Supervisors to implement strategies, participate in groups, and document progress while maintaining HIPAA standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related coursework preferred.
• At least 6 months of behavioral health or adolescent experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
• Current Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtained within 30 days.
• Ability to complete onboarding and role-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Engage adolescents with empathetic coaching and rapport building.
• Translate treatment plans into daily interactions aligned with goals.
• Apply trauma-informed strategies to support self-regulation.
• Collaborate with clinicians to track progress and document outcomes.
• Lead or support group sessions and activities.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and confidentiality.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality; HIPAA compliance.
