Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care at Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, AZ. Qualifications

• Requires unrestricted Pharmacist licensure in the state of practice and a Pharmacy degree.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders and evaluate their appropriateness for patient data (age, weight, diagnosis, labs).
• Assess and optimize patient medication regimens for safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness; communicate with prescribers.
• Document patient care activities in the EMR and other databases.
• Support professional development and onboarding of new staff.
• Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile or non-sterile compounding.
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and supervise technicians, interns, and students.
