Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college.
• Arizona pharmacist license required; incumbent must obtain license or provide wallet card.
• Hospital experience preferred; acute care setting within past 12 months advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders and evaluate appropriateness based on patient data.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize therapy and enhance safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record and communicate with providers.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and students; coordinate daily workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Pharmacy & Therapeutics directives.
• Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile medications; manage medication preparation and distribution.
