Job summary

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Pharmacist licensure in the state of practice.
• AZ Board wallet card required at time of hire.
• If not licensed, must complete Board of Pharmacy process within 30 days and be licensed within 90 days.
• Hospital/pharmacy experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders and evaluate completeness using patient data (age, weight, diagnosis, labs).
• Assess medication regimens and provide safety, efficacy, and cost-effective recommendations.
• Document activities in EMR and communicate with pharmacists/providers as needed.
• Supervise technicians and interns; coordinate workflow and medication approvals.
