Job summary

Roosevelt Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Philadelphia is seeking an Activities Assistant to provide engaging, resident-centered programs in a welcoming, home-like environment. Evening shifts are available, with full-time and part-time opportunities and daily pay.

You will document participation, support social, emotional, physical and intellectual well-being, and collaborate with nurses and therapists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in an Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities and programs.
• Promote residents' social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through activities.
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing recreational, social, educational, and community programs.
• Build positive relationships with residents and encourage participation based on interests and abilities.
