Siena Lakes by Erickson Senior Living in Naples, FL seeks a Program Assistant to enhance residents' well-being through tailored programs. You will work with the Programming team to create therapeutic and recreational activities for a diverse senior community.

Hours are Monday–Friday 3 PM–7 PM with compensation starting at $17/hr, commensurate with experience. Join a team dedicated to diversity, inclusion and growth within a leading senior living network.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience with the geriatric population or related fields; education may substitute for experience.
Minimum of 1 year as an Activities Assistant in a licensed health care facility or related college coursework/internships preferred.
Experience leading groups with varying physical and cognitive independence preferred.
Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings required.

Responsabilités

Facilitate structured and impromptu programs for residents in common areas and rooms.
Escort residents on group trips and excursions, ensuring safety.
Collaborate with team members, management and volunteers to deliver engaging programs.
Monitor and report changes in residents' needs to the Programming Manager.
Manage program supplies and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
Participate in team discussions on programming, schedules and resident issues.
Prepare and implement activity programs based on the Program Manager's guidance.
Lead and set up group and individual activities, motivating participants.
