Job summary

Prosegur, a leading security solutions provider, seeks an Unarmed Security Officer to guard the truck gate at the Alachua facility. You will log inbound/outbound trucks, control access, issue badges, and maintain visitor records.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and D-License. The role demands physical mobility, alertness, and accurate data entry, with strong communication. This Full-Time position covers 1st shift, weekends, and 32 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• D-License certification required.

Responsibilities

• Log inbound and outbound trucks and control access at entry points.
• Capable of walking to and from guard shack to trucks; be very agile.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time when required.
• Input information accurately into software programs.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Patrol the interior/exterior of the property on foot.
• Monitor and respond to emergencies including medical, fire, and weather-related situations.
• Remain awake, alert, and attentive while on duty.
• Follow verbal and written directions from client personnel and Prosegur Supervisory/Management personnel.
• Answer and route phone calls to the appropriate parties.
• Be courteous, polite, and professional with customers, employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Perform other security related duties as assigned.
• Present a neat and well-groomed appearance.
