Job summary

Merakey in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team for afternoon shifts 1:30-7:30pm. You will provide 1:1 direct ABA services in family homes, schools, and community settings, using evidence-based treatments and maintaining thorough data collection.

The role emphasizes engaging with clients, documenting progress, and collaborating with families. Preferred candidates have 3–6 months of behavioral health experience or an RBT certification; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 1:30-7:30pm.
• 3–6 months experience in behavioral health services preferred.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred.
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct ABA services in family homes, schools, and community settings.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection and required documentation.
• Engage clients with a positive demeanor and apply individualized treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
