Job summary

Jefferson County School District 509J seeks Certified Teachers for the 21st Century Afterschool Program across Bridges High School, Madras High School, JCMS, and WSK8. This district-wide, temporary position offers after-school hours and a focus on planning engaging activities for students.

Starting immediately, hours are Monday–Thursday 3:00–5:30 PM, with a salary of $37/hour. Preference is for current JCSD 509-J teachers; located in Central Oregon’s Madras area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and valid TSPC license required.
• Oregon educator standards emphasis on character and ethics.
• Preferred Masters Degree and public school teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate academic, enrichment, and recreational activities.
• Monitor students and connect with families at the site.
