Job summary

SELIT North America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair problems with production and facility equipment. You will perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure product quality and safety.

Daily documentation of downtime, spare parts, and maintenance is required, and you will assist with equipment changeovers as needed. The role offers an air-conditioned work environment, a 12-hour evening shift schedule, and opportunities for bonuses and

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to operate basic to sophisticated hand tools and possess knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Fulfill physical requirements including walking, standing, stooping and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, replace and/ or overhaul mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform and document routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assist Operators with product changeovers to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure manufacturing equipment produces quality and safe products.
• Adhere to safety processes to comply with regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement and provide suggestions.
• Lay-out, install, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, drives, and PLC control systems.
