Job Description:

Wayzata Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Professional to coordinate and conduct comprehensive special education evaluations and provide direct services to students. The candidate should be skilled in conducting standardized assessments aligned with Minnesota Department of Education criteria and interpreting educational data. The role requires organization, initiative, and the ability to collaborate with educators and administrators to support students with disabilities in a cross-categorical model.

Qualifications:

1. Special Education Licensure for Federal Setting 1-3.
2. Multiple licensure preferred.
3. Ability to design and implement tailored instruction for students requiring special education.
4. Experience working collaboratively with general education teams and paraprofessionals.
5. Interest and ability to connect well with elementary and secondary students.
6. Experience with evaluation and eligibility determination preferred.
