Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.
• 0–2 years engineering experience including internships or co‑op programs.
• Understanding of power electronics fundamentals and motor drives.
• Experience with lab instrumentation and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Execute verification, validation, characterization, and reliability testing of traction inverter systems and related components.
• Set up, configure, and operate laboratory test equipment and inverter test benches.
• Perform functional, performance, thermal, environmental, efficiency, and fault‑injection testing.
• Collect, organize, and analyze test data to identify performance issues, trends, and anomalies.
• Support hardware bring‑up, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
• Document test procedures, results, observations, and engineering findings.
• Assist with root cause analysis and validation of corrective actions.
• Support development and maintenance of automated test scripts and data acquisition systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to support product development and validation.
• Follow laboratory safety standards and high‑voltage testing procedures.
