Job summary

General Motors in Milford, MI is seeking a Thermal Calibration Engineer for the EV Thermal Calibration team. The role interfaces calibration teams, software, and program teams, owning high-quality calibrations for BEV3/BET programs.

The candidate will develop and optimize calibrations, analyze data, and support virtual calibration efforts, with hybrid work requiring onsite three days weekly and up to <25% travel. relocation benefits available.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required
• 2+ years SW/Controls development or calibration experience
• Experience with in-vehicle testing and data analysis
• Independent worker with team collaboration
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize calibrations to meet performance and timing requirements
• Support closing out program PRTS and other issues
• Develop scripts/tools to verify calibrations
• Capture and analyze empirical data efficiently
• Support calibration development virtually (VDDV)
• Own delivery of high-quality thermal calibrations for BEV3/BET programs
• Coordinate calibration activities with team members
• Assist in procuring resources for calibration
• Diagnose and correct vehicle/system deficiencies
• Participate in development trips and test activities
