Job summary

Lucid Motors in Fremont, CA is seeking a Manager of Technical Training in Automotive Aftersales to design and oversee training programs that develop a high-performing EV service workforce.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, Quality and Service Leadership to translate vehicle updates into scalable curricula, manage instructors, and ensure safety and customer experience standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical training or learning operations in automotive/EV environments.
• 2+ years in people leadership managing trainers or learning programs.
• Experience building role-based curricula and competency frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of EV systems, diagnostics, and service workflows.
• Experience using LMS and reporting tools for completion and compliance metrics.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to leaders and frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute annual training strategy for technical roles aligned to growth objectives.
• Lead and coach technical trainers to improve instructional quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Quality, EHS, and Service Leadership to translate updates into training content.
• Standardize governance, version control, and content release processes.
• Support launch readiness for new models, systems, and service procedures through targeted plans.
• Conduct training audits and site observations to validate quality and coaching needs.
• Drive continuous improvement through trainee feedback and field defect trends.
