Job summary

Subaru of America is seeking a senior business operations leader to drive the EV strategy across the organization, coordinating with partners in the Alliance to guide decisions on vehicle launches, powertrain transitions, and lifecycle management. This role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and regulatory awareness in a dynamic market.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 6–8 years of relevant experience, with hybrid work in Camden, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience required.
• Excellent analytical skills to support critical and time-sensitive decision-making.
• Strong automotive industry and retailer operations knowledge, especially EV regulation and market conditions.
• Knowledge of cross-functional departments at Subaru of America (SOA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains responsibility for re-evaluating and establishing standardized program management practices for the transition of vehicle powertrains from ICE to HEVs and BEVs.
• Leads alliance vehicle launch preparation and ongoing support with working group counterparts for Subaru Corporation, Toyota Motor Corporation, and Toyota North America, plus SOA working groups.
• Leads battery life cycle management strategy, including development of a closed-loop process for post-vehicle-use batteries.
• Provides strategic input on prioritization, contingency planning, and corrective actions for SOA and SBR leadership.
• Analyzes large amounts of data to inform executive decisions on EV market conditions and evolving incentives.
