Job summary

Astemo Ltd. instructs an Analysis Engineer to troubleshoot production line rejects in power module, IPM and inverter products, supporting production operations and company objectives.

This role involves hands-on testing, detailed documentation, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders and customers. It uses specified processes, measurement equipment, and analysis techniques to process rejects and return to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (EE/EET or ME/MET preferred).
• Automotive field experience desired; experience in a Japanese company is highly desired.
• Adept at problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of measurement technologies (SEM, FTIR, electrical/metrology equipment).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interdepartmental and customer use.
• Proficient with MS PowerPoint and Excel and analytical software.
• Willingness to travel overseas for training as early as fall 2026; 2–4 months in Japan may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work within analysis team performing analysis of automotive EV products: 60%.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and quality documentation: 20%.
• Review manufacturing processes for improvement as related to analysis results: 10%.
• Other duties as assigned: 10%.
