Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. in California is seeking a Team Lead to guide a manufacturing team on the EV assembly line.

You will direct daily activities, set goals, manage headcount, and serve as the primary contact for your zone, ensuring targets are met and safety standards are upheld. You will mentor and develop team members, monitor performance against metrics, and collaborate with management to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with OEM or Tier-1 supplier environments preferred.
• Hands-on production/shop-floor experience in assembly.
• Demonstrated people management and supervisory capabilities.
• Ability to lead projects from concept to production release.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily 5-minute start-of-shift huddles covering output, goals, safety and 5S.
• Oversee zonal staffing and headcount; escalate gaps to the Supervisor; cover as needed on the line.
• Mentor and coach team members to drive growth and skill development.
• Monitor performance against key metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Serve as liaison between the team and management; communicate progress, challenges and achievements clearly.
• Champion a continuous improvement culture; apply production fundamentals like takt time, cycle times, downtime tracking and safety/quality escalation.
• Maintain 5S and Safety standards across the zone and General Assembly area.
