Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking a procurement leader to manage xEV program sourcing from sourcing through production launch in Greenfield, Indiana. You will drive cost targets, supplier readiness, and continuity while interfacing with the Business Unit and Purchasing Department.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong project/risk management, and travel to suppliers; international travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or SCM or equivalent experience in Procurement/PM.
• 5+ years in purchasing, sourcing, program management, supply chain, or engineering.
• Ability to analyze BOM cost, piece price changes, tooling investments, and program profitability.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management and risk management skills.
• Travel to suppliers/Astemo locations; some international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Purchasing, Business Unit and suppliers to meet program objectives.
• Support launch readiness for purchased parts and cost objectives.
• Track and drive open issues to closure; escalate as needed.
• Work with Design/Cost Engineering to develop BOM price targets for Sales in new business.
• Develop and execute recovery plans when targets are at risk.
• Report cost reduction proposals including VEC for purchased parts.
• Plan program activities and master timing schedules.
• Lead program activities for development and improvement of the program and company.
• Prepare status reports for purchased parts and management.
