Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• GPA 3.0 on 4.0 scale (or B average) at initial hire.
• Interest in automotive and power electronics field.
• Experience in Power Electronics is preferred; knowledge of modelling, simulating, and/or circuit design required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical design, simulation and analysis of power electronics circuits to meet requirements.
• Perform electrical debug, test, characterization and verification of designs.
• Assist in specifying and testing key electrical components.
• Support product development with design analyses, trade studies and reviews.
• Gain understanding of vehicle system components interfacing with power electronics.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams and suppliers for development and verification.
• Use lab equipment to build, test and verify designs.
