Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United States is offering a Fall 2026 internship in the Power Electronics Group of Engineering & Product Development. You will work on power electronics projects, applying design and testing skills in a collaborative environment.

The role targets a current or soon-to-be graduate pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with strong English communication, technical documentation, and mathematical abilities. Hourly range and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with experience in power electronics.
• Fluently read, speak and write in English.
• Ability to write technical documentation including design reports, work instructions and test reports.
• Ability to prepare program summaries for peer and executive review.
• Mathematical skills and engineering principles applied to computations with engineering models.

Responsibilities

• Technical responsible in all aspects of power electronics related, including components, circuits, and modules.
• Component selection and evaluation.
• Circuit design, analysis and debugging.
• Performance testing and evaluation.
• Function verification and validation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.
• Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.
